What is Memory Vinyl?
Flex vinyl glazing makes the vinyl strong and flexible. It is 10mil thick. The window can be hit or leaned on and will return to its original state.
How deep do the windows set into the rough opening?
The 2, 3, and 4 track window frames are 1 7/8″ deep.
The lip frame/fixed window depth is 7/8″ deep.
How wide are the nailing flanges?
The nailing flanges around the outside of the window frame are 7/8″ wide.
Do EzVue™ Vinyl Windows Offer UV Protection?

What Colors Of Vinyl Do You Offer?
Clear, Light Gray, Dark Gray, and Bronze.
What Frame Colors Do You Offer?
Standard colors are White, Tan, Clay, Bronze, and Black.
What Types Of Screens Do You Offer?
Standard Fiberglass Mesh and Premium Screen.
What are your screen mesh sizes?
We have four screens available for your custom windows. They are:
Do I Have To Have The Bar In The Center Of The Vents?
Yes, all units over 30″ in width require a spreader bar. Under 30″ is optional and must be noted on the order if they are not wanted.
Do Twin Units (TW) And Triple Units (TR) Come Pre-Assembled?
No. They are field mulled.
How Do I Determine The Hinge Of A Door?
The hinge side for in-swing and out-swing doors is always determined from outside looking in.
Are All Doors Installed From The Exterior?
No. In-swing doors are installed from the interior.
Are EzVue Windows & Doors Rated For High Winds?
It’s not a wind-tested product. The wind doesn’t affect the windows but if they are heavy enough, the sashes can be lowered.
Sizing
What Are The Minimum And Maximum Sizes For Verticals?
Max is 48″ x 102″ or 60″ x 96″. The min is 12″ x 24″ for a 3-vent unit.
What Is The Size Of The Flange?
All Porch Conversions units have a 7/8″ front mounting flange.
What Is The Frame Depth?
All verticals have a 1 7/8″ frame depth that recesses into the opening.
What Standard Door Sizes Are Offered?
Standard door sizes are 32″, 34″, and 36″w x 80″. Custom doors are available up to 42″ x 96″.
French door standard sizes are 64″, 68″, and 72″w x 80″h. Custom French doors are available with a minimum width of 60″w and maximum width of 84″w.
Optional thresholds add 1 1/4″ to the above heights.
What Is The Shortest I Can Make The Leg On A Trapezoid Unit?
The minimum leg height is 6″.

How Do I Order Your Windows?
We have an order form that has all the necessary questions that need to be completed to fulfill your order in a timely manner.
Do I Have Time To Make Changes Once An Order Is Placed?
When we receive an order, we will first send it to you as a quote. If everything is correct, you will need to confirm before it is converted to an order. Once you have confirmed, and it is converted, no changes can be made.
Care & Cleaning
What Do I Use To Clean The Windows?
Please remember—vinyl is NOT glass. Extreme care must be taken when cleaning your vinyl windows. Do not use any harsh cleaners or detergents. It is imperative that no formulas containing bleach or ammonia are used, including professional pressure cleaners.
For best results, your windows need to be cool before washing. Make sure all dust and loose sand or grit has been removed from all areas of the frame and vinyl. This is best accomplished with the soft brush attachment of your vacuum cleaner.
We recommend that you use specially formulated Vinyl Cleaner and Preservative. An acceptable alternative is a mild solution of Woolite or Murphy’s Oil Soap and distilled water.
What If The Sahes Are Hard To Slide?
Clean and lubricate the tracks with a dry silicon-based lubricant.

How Do I Lubricate Vinyl Tracks?
Along with regular cleaning, you should also consider lubricating the vinyl tracks of your EzVue™ windows. Do this as needed or when you feel like they don’t glide as smoothly as they did when you installed them. That’s it!

Can I Adjust the Sash Operation?
Yes, there are minor adjustement you can make on your own to adjust the sash operation on your Porch Life vinyl windows (beyond lubricating and fitting). Is easy to do.

Warranty
What Is The Warranty On The Porch Conversions Product?
Limited Warranty
Porch Conversion warrants to the original resident purchaser that any unit is free of manufacturing and/or material defects. This warranty applies to the unit under normal use and service, subject to the conditions and limitations herein listed, and as long as the original resident purchaser resides in the home in which the units were installed.
This warranty covers only those manufacturing and material defects as specified herein and does not include defects or damages attributable to improper installation, use or maintenance, normal weathering, highly corrosive environments defects caused by accident, fire, flood, acts of God, vandalism, riot or civil disorder, building settlement or structural failure of walls or foundations; stresses resulting from localized heat which causes excessive temperature differentials over vinyl surface edges or occurrences beyond Porch Conversions’ control. This warranty shall be null and void if harmful solvents are used to clean the aluminum frame and/or sash
members, the vinyl glazing, or if the frame and/or sash members are painted or coated in any way; or if any other “aftermarket” products are applied.
ALUMINUM FRAME
The aluminum components of the frame/sash members are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the windows. The powder coated paint finish is warranted against blistering, peeling,
cracking or chipping from normal intended usage for a period of 10 years from the date of installation to the original purchaser.
VINYL GLAZING
The vinyl is warranted to be free of defects resulting in material obstruction of vision and cracking for a period of 10 years from the date of delivery by Porch Conversions. Provided vinyl is conditioned annually with the vinyl cleaner, vinyl has prevalent characteristics such as bubbles, blurs and hairline scratches. These are expected as they are inherent qualities.
SCREEN AND MOVING PARTS
The screen and moving parts shall be warranted for a period of (2) years on the material only from the date of delivery by Porch Conversions.
CLAIMS
Any claim for defects under this warranty must be submitted promptly after discovery to the dealer from whom the product was purchased. If you cannot locate your Porch Conversions dealer, you may write to Porch Conversions for assistance. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental consequential damages or the limitation of remedies for a breach of warranty, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty give you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
